TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - For those who want to lose weight, there is a new menu worth trying in 2017. Nutritionists in Britain mention some natural foods that claimed to help cut weight.

They also forceasted the kinds of foods that will be hunted in 2017. These foods not only contain substances that can slim one`s body, but also good for improving digestion, lowering cholesterol, and expel dizziness from drinking too much alcohol.

The following are the kinds of foods suggested by the experts, as published by Daily Mail.

Jackfruit

"The results showed that the jackfruit contains anti-inflammatory substances, which can be an important aspect to prevent obesity. Seeds are also a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants that can help prevent cell damage and very good for the immune system," said Carly Tierney, a personal trainer and nutrition expert at the fitness center networks DW Fitness Clubs.

Jackfruit is very popular in Asia, especially the south-east and south, but little known in the west there.

Cactus

Seaweed

This delicious food had been around for quite some time in Asia, especially in the Eastern side. In the western world, seaweed began to rise when the famous chef Jamie Oliver put snacks into his show and explain the content of the materials that can help you lose weight. According to Tierney, seaweed is a good and outstanding source of iron and calcium.

Fish Salad

This Hawaii-origin menu is called the "poke bowls", which comes in the form of salad raw fish that are low in calories. This meal started drawing attention after appearing in a top eateries in Los Angeles, United States.
